Week 4: 8Y08: Building Background:
This week we explored a few resource tools, for teachers and learners. I created a Mind Map, using Bubblu.us, this site, is really Helpful!!! when you want to Create Digital Brainstorming!! I have also listed below some resources that I came across...1. Bubbl.us:
This program allows you to create colorful and engaging mind maps, graphical representations of concepts and ideas and the relationships between them. It’s great for planning projects, collaborating with others, and brainstorming with your team. It is very easy to use and quick to use, it’s a very simple tool that features and option are very easy to understand, it lets you view a project using the presentation mode and save it and share it. The only weakness that I have with this program is that its free version but has very limited features. This program is suitable for all ages, and all grades, and or instructional proposes. The way I can see myself using this website is for my own personal needs as a student, but also to brainstorm with students, and encourage my students and others to use it to brainstorm.
2. National Gallery of Art, Art Tales for Pre-K
This website is filled with many resources about learning art at any age. As a teacher you can find many various lesson ideas, teaching resources and professional developmental opportunities. There is lots of resources and free interactive iPad Apps, where children can learn about art and creating their own masterpieces. What I enjoyed most about this website, is that there is “art tales” for Pre-k all the way up to high school resources. With downloaded PDF files to help start a conversation of artists. Like Henri Matisse, Wassily Kandinsky. The way I can envision myself using this website, is to incorporate language, and history into my lesson plans for my students for extra resources.
3. Kahoot
Kahoot Is a good program to be able to interact with older students, but the weakness is with younger students, the suitability of this program is that it can be used in all age and grades for quizzes, or even surveys to make sure that students are understanding the context that they are learning. The interesting finding that I found on this cite, is that you can create a learning game, and host live classes or videos as a conferencing tool to connect to students virtually on any devices, design a challenge
4. Bouncy Balls
This website is a classroom nice level matter, monitor and management tool, perfect if your students are too noisy. I would use this tool for Gym Classes, or to teach younger students the power of digital programs. This program also has similar programs such as https://neave.com/ this link where you can find, Zoom Earth, Tic-Tac-Toe, retro version of the simple game X’s and O’s. The only weakness element of this program is that it can be only used for the level of monitor sound and management tool.
5. Random Name Picker
This tool is very easy to use, it allows you to instantly pick a random name (winner) from a list of names. I like this program because it can help with picking groups for students, and giving contests, drawing, giveaways and promotions. This program can be suitable for all students when they are doing research or collaborative work with others,

How you envision yourself using the website
๐กReflection: Today, I did something really spontaneous, I created my own Bitmoji edition, classroom for my future google classroom, it was actually super easy to create!!
A really helpful tool I used to create this classroom was from "Hello Teacher Lady" . Shana Ramin, created this post, to help others like my self, to build and create a virtual Bitmoji classroom in google slides or powerpoint.
๐Everything you will need:
1. A blank google slides or powerpoint file
2. The Bitmoji Chrome Extension
Step1: Open a blank good slide or Powerpoint
(A) I changed the dimensions of my google slide to 15 in X 8 Inches.
Step 2: Collect your images [ which is truly the best part]
(A) Search up images by making sure there is "transparent" in the search engine, which will make this task much easy for you, [ 'transparent', photos will help you when you create your slides, so that all images can be stacked on top of each other]
(B) Background: Search up "white brick wall, or wood floor, and click insert
(C) the awesome part is next!!! The Bitmoji, "download "Bitmoji chrome extension" , then click the Bitmoji icon on your browser bar, select the Bitmoji you want, and drag it onto the slide.
TIP: If you want to find a standing Bitmoji without additional text or art, "type pose" into the search Bar!!
Next week I will be adding interactive links to my Classroom Bitmoji Edition Classroom, and will be sharing it here....
